Lifeswitch and Church sound

Early in 2021, I started doing sound for Lifeswitch, a church based in Upper Hutt. This is where I’ve done the majority of my learning within the live sound space. I’ve learned various skills, including working with digital consoles, RF, signal flow, stage plots, and setups, among many other things. It’s where I mix music live week in and week out and get to be involved in events like Camp Survivor and their Worship Nights.

Camp Survivor is a week-long kids' camp they put on every year for children who don’t normally get the opportunity to do fun and exciting things. This camp is run entirely free of charge. It's where I get the chance to run sound for the full week and mix a band every morning and night. Doing this camp has also opened up opportunities for me to work at larger camps and festivals, such as Easter Camps.

Below are a few photos from events I’ve done sound for within the church community.
