Halcyon Drift is a four-piece band from Wellington, New Zealand. I was asked by my uncle, who is the drummer, to assist them with recording their first and final album. They have been a band for 20+ years now. I helped them with the recording and feedback stages within the mixing process of the album. I was given the title “Assistant Engineer.” The album is set to drop in June 2025. They have just released their EP, which includes four songs from the album. The EP is called Prelude.
